A quick jump in the park proved too much for glamour model Jordan when fear of heights got the better of her at a charity zip-wire ride.

The Brighton-based star may have the nerve to bare all for the sake of self-publicity but she came over all dizzy when presented with the more challenging proposition.

With her gravity-defying assets covered she went to Preston Park, Brighton, to take part in the charity leap.

Hundreds of onlookers had gathered to see Jordan, real name Katie Price, keep her balance on the 500ft wire.

The 25-year-old was taken 165ft in the air in a cage suspended from a crane but asked to be lowered back to the ground before braving the zip-wire.

After a bit of self-motivation, she bravely went back to the top for a second attempt - but again had to admit defeat and was lowered to the ground.

The event had been organised to raise funds for the Royal London Society for the Blind and Jordan - whose son Harvey is visually impaired - was keen to do her bit.

She said afterwards: "I feel terrible for letting everyone down but I'm dodgy with heights."

Despite her disappointment, charity leaders were delighted that she made the effort and told her she had no need to feel ashamed.

A spokesman said: "We weren't disappointed and in fact I was just impressed she went up in the first place as she was so scared. She was even more daring to try it a second time."
