BLOOD BROTHERS, Theatre Royal, Brighton, June 30-July 12: This West End great by Willy Russell of Educating Rita fame combines good singalong tunes and gritty humour with the tale of Liverpudlian twins separated at birth. BLACKBIRD, Komedia, Brighton, July 1: Commissioned by Southwark Playhouse from Trafford Tanzi writer Clair Luckham, this is the tale of a mistress and wife who lock horns when their shared squeeze dies. Set in a garden centre, the innovative use of 11 songs by David Lyons is an integral part of the show and transforms it into a mini-garden opera. Starts 8pm, tickets cost £8.50/£6.50. DOMINIC FRISBY, Komedia, Brighton, July 3: A comic tackling dishwashers, dinners, livestock, mortgages and other subjects, Dominic brings his character Morris The Morris Dancer to the stage and the Al Qaida Blue Review may or may not perform their infamous Gaza Strip. A voiceover artist by day and comedian by night, Dominic has also appeared on Loose Ends on Radio 4 and in EastEnders. Starts 8pm, £8.50/£6.50. 01273 647100.

JALEO FLAMENCO, Gardner Arts Centre, Falmer, July 1: For more than a decade, Jaleo has been capturing the hearts of audiences across the world with its charismatic approach to traditional flamenco performance.
