I live on a main road in Kemp Town, Brighton, and have many times been woken by emergency vehicles blasting out their sirens at 11pm and later.
I am fully aware of the importance of crews getting to the scene but isn't there a cut-off time for using sirens?
I am not sure it is necessary to startle and wake residents at such an hour.
Maybe other readers are in the know about the regulations.
