St Bede's under-18s boys are the new Sussex County Independent Schools Champions.
The team of Ashley Evans, Dale Evans, Andrew Lait and Adam Hassan beat teams from Ardingly College, Brighton College and Eastbourne College to claim the title.
The team are now preparing for the regional final against Worthing College.
Adam Hassan, 14, who is ranked in the British top eight for his age group, won the doubles and reached the singles quarter-finals of the European Tennis Association tournament in Israel.
The under-18s girls' squad have also reached the regional final of the Glanville Cup where they will take on Woldingham Girls School.
The Downs Leisure Centre is running beginners courses for children aged four and upwards at the Salts Recreation Ground in Seaford.
A six-day course starts on Monday, July 28 and a three-day course runs from Monday, August 11. Contact The Downs Leisure Centre on 01323 490011.
