Controversial author George Monbiot is appearing on the silver screen in Brighton to publicise his latest book.
The accliamed author and environmentalist has been praised and vilified in equal measure for controversial investigations into the corrupt practices of governments in various countries across the globe.
He will discuss his latest work, The Age Of Consent, during a talk on Wednesday in screen one of the Odeon Cinema, Brighton, starting at 7pm.
The book tells of the need for a radical new world order and establishment of a World Parliament. He argues that current systems are grossly unfair, with the only solution being to scrap the UN Security Council, International Monetary Fund and World Bank.
Tickets are only available from Borders bookshop in Churchill Square. They cost £5, with £1 redeemable against purchase of the book.
