A dog owner has been charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act in connection with the death of a swan.
The female swan was mauled by a large dog in Egerton Park, Bexhill, on Sunday.
The dog's owner was traced by police and was charged with being in charge of a dog that was out of control in a public place.
