What are Brighton residents who live in one room supposed to do with their rubbish during the seven days between collections?
I have no bin store and no other suitable storage in my studio flat.
I am eight months pregnant and seriously concerned about the hygiene involved in leaving food and soiled nappies rotting in my room for a week until I am allowed to dispose of them Brighton and Hove City Council recognised the problem in the past, as it provided a large bin at the bottom of our street where residents could place their rubbish.
However, that facility was taken away due to alleged "misuse". No bin area is now provided for the many residents in Dorset Gardens.
I have approached the council but it remains silent on the matter.
