Residents are being asked what facilities there should be for young people on a popular recreation ground.
Arun District Council is consulting about what should happen to Southfields Road Recreation Ground in Littehampton.
The council is working with the Youth Service and Parkside Evangelical Church to ask residents, young people and other members of the community what facilities could improve it.
Consultation starts on Monday and will run until July 28.
Letters and questionnaires, including examples of designs for the ground, are being sent out.
The council is also targeting young people at Littlehampton Community School, the Littlehampton Youth Wing, the Flintstone Centre and the Parkside Evangelical Church.
A consultation event will be held at the recreation ground on July 26 from 2pm to 5pm.
There will be free activities during the afternoon, including games and a bouncy castle.
