Not content with dragging East Brighton College of Media Arts (Comart) down to official second-worst-school-in-the-UK level (according to Ofsted), Brighton and Hove City Council's chair of education is now at the point of closing it altogether.
Councillor Pat Hawkes and education minister Charles Clarke, who should have their own cartoon strip in Viz, are living proof it is the teachers and parents who should run our schools, not the politicians, as they clearly know nothing about the subject.
