Busted are not only gonna be here in the Year 3000 - they are going to pop their heads round the door in 2003 as well.

The latest homegrown teen sensation will test even the hardiest of eardrums when they perform at Party In The Park on Sunday June 22.

The lads burst on to the scene with their debut single What I Go To School For - a vocal dream about every boy's fantasy teacher.

Subsequent singles, such as Year 3000, include lyrics such as "Your great great great granddaughter's pretty fine", proving their laddish credentials while the inevitable ballad "Losing You" shows they have a smoochy side too.

Busted will play alongside Daniel Bedingfield and Mis-teeq and they will be joined by a host of other pop acts to be announced one at a time in the run-up to the summer's biggest Sussex pop festival.
