One win out of two will clinch home court advantage for Worthing Thunder but their skipper wants to do it in style.

Gaylon Moore will pick himself up off his sick bed tonight after recovering from food poisoning and lead his side against second-placed Plymouth Raiders in the NBL Conference (8pm).

Victory will ensure Thunder of a top four finish and home advantage in the first round of the post season.

If they do not do it, they have a second crack when Hackney White Heat head to Durrington tomorrow for a re-arranged game (7.45pm).

The Londoners were unable to book their regular home court before tomorrow night, which is the official end of the regular season.

Thunder were able to slot them in at the Leisure Centre at short notice and will look for their regular supporters to show their loyalty by turning up for this unusually late start.

Moore missed training last night as he recovered from his illness.

He was struck down on Thursday night and did nothing other than await medical attention yesterday.

He hopes to be back tonight as Thunder attempt to build on last weekend's win double over Kingston and Ware, He said: "One win will do for us but obviously I want us to win both.

"Being at home in the first round of the play-offs is important for us because the first game is often the hardest.

"We could get any one of three teams and don't mind which it is."

Kingston, Manchester or Sutton could find themselves heading to the Sussex coast if Thunder do the job this weekend.

Moore will look for the sort of application which saved his side from defeat in a thriller at Kingston last Saturday.

Lavoris Jerry finished it in style with a dunk from Daniel Hildreth's superb assist.

Moore said: "It was a nice pass from Danny and a nice dunk from V but what really impressed me was how we defended at the end."
