Surely if there are letters in The Argus describing filthy, vandalised, unserviced toilets in stations and on trains, the question should be who regulates public health and safety on public transport?

A government paper could be written on Brighton station men's toilets since the station had a multi-million pound restoration, during which the men's toilet cubicles were ripped out and passengers advised to use the trains.
