How can Janek Masrani (The Argus, November 15) think a hostel for homeless people will ever be accepted by the residents of Eaton Gardens?
Eaton Gardens is a pleasant, quiet area of Hove into which his nursing home fits quite well but he must realise there is going to be strong and totally justified opposition to his intention to make money from a hostel that would bring with it problems such as drink, drugs and crime.
There are plenty of options open to Mr Masrani other than turning Sunningdale into a homeless hostel.
I am glad to add my voice to the rapidly growing number of shocked Hove people intent on persuading Brighton and Hove City Council's planning officers to refuse Mr Masrani's application.
