Sussex swimmers starred in the English Schools championships over the weekend at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
The county finished fourth overall and came first in the intermediate boys, third in the senior girls and fourth in the junior girls.
Amy Kent won the 100m breaststroke in the senior girls and Ben Hutchinson set a new record in the intermediate boys 100m freestyle event with a time of 53.39 seconds. The pair will now represent England at the British Championships in Ireland next year.
Elsewhere, Holly White came second in the junior girls butterfly 100m and the intermediate boys relay team featuring Chris Hutchinson, Ben Hutchinson and Danny Sivers won the medley relay and freestyle relay in record times.
