Page 21 of the current Brighton and Hove bus timetable asks people not to use their mobile phones while aboard the buses.
Sadly, there are no notices to that effect on board buses therefore people continue to use their phones.
I have a cellphone myself but would not dream of using it while in transit and keep it switched off'.
Last year, I took a holiday in Mold, Wales, and there were notices on all the buses there asking passengers not to use their mobile phones - and no one did.
The journeys were very peaceful. Why can Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company not do likewise? It isn't much good putting information in the bus times brochure and not following this up with a notice on board.
