A woman was punched and indecently assaulted as she walked home through Bevendean.

The victim, 20, was in Buller Road when two men shouted abuse.

One grabbed her arm and pushed her into an alleyway. He put a hand over her mouth and she bit him. The man then punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her.

Both men were black and aged 35 to 40. One was slim, 6ft 2in tall, with a fringe gelled to his forehead. The other was 6ft and stocky, with a small triangular beard.
