Worthing scored twice in injury time to pull off a dramatic 3-2 win over Banstead in Division One South.
The Rebels looked to be heading for defeat when Ben Carrington levelled after former Worthing goalkeeper James Wastell failed to gather a cross from Wesley Lopez.
With time running out, Mark Knee pressurised defender Jerome Richards into heading another Lopez cross past the helpless Wastell for an unlikely winner.
Worthing boss Barry Lloyd said: "Any victory is nice but when you score twice in the 90th minute then it is extra special. I am really pleased for the players. I told them that if they keep passing the ball they will get their rewards and that is what happened."
Banstead had taken a 14th-minute lead when Graham Knight headed home a David Moore cross, but Worthing levelled after 65 minutes when Jones converted a pass from Knee. Banstead restored their lead within three minutes through Gary Whelan.
