Construction minister Brian Wilson has launched a report which identifies how businesses can cut their running costs
He said: "The construction industry needs to respond to the challenge of the global economy by driving out unnecessary spending and waste and helping its clients plan for the future.
"Industry and clients must work together to achieve long-term value rather than go for the quick fix."
