Accountants and business advice specialist Mazars Neville Russell, which has an office in Brighton, is to adopt a shortened name.

From September 1, the firm will operate under the title Mazars.

Senior partner Richard Hopkins said: "Since 1998, we have been part of the international Mazars group. We are changing our name to accord with that of the group.

"The partnership will continue in its existing form and the new heading will have no impact on any of our current contracts or the services we provide."

Mazars' Brighton practice, one of 20 UK offices, has grown substantially since it opened under the name Neville Russell in 1968.

It now employs 60 people.
