House prices rising at the current levels are of benefit to all home owners at the moment.
The only disadvantage being that single people or couples looking to buy their first home cannot afford to pay the mortgages required. I wonder how they are supposed to get a start on the housing ladder?
The wages and salaries paid in this region do not allow for the high cost
of property so younger people cannot afford to live here. What must be remembered is that interest rates may rise, causing a different housing crisis, as we have seen in the past.
This costs the whole of Sussex vital professional people, who are much needed.
