THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE FILM BAND, The Hawth, Crawley, August 9
This nine-piece group features a powerful brass section, a funky rhythm section and slick percussion.

Dressed in Seventies' costumes, The Incredibly Strange Film Band play film and TV themes from the Sixties to the Nineties, including James Bond, Pulp Fiction and Austin Powers.

The summer nights could finally be heating up with this flaming hot flamenco night.

Brighton's very own flamenco orchestra will be providing the sounds to accompany Candela's colourful dancers and tapas from Elena's Kitchen.

HALO, Concorde 2, Brighton, August 13
Bristol has become a bit of a birthing-pool for new talent ever since Portishead and Massive Attack trip-hopped their way onto the music scene.

In the meantime, four-piece band Halo have been quietly making waves with their pop-influenced Brit-rock, taking in the sounds of Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix, Simon and Garfunkel and Nirvana.

LEWES GUITAR FESTIVAL, venues across and near Lewes, until August 11
The festival draws to a close with a number of dynamic acts from around the world.
