A woman questioned on suspicion of murdering a West Sussex advertising manager eight years ago has been released on police bail.

Julian Webb, 31, was found dead at his home in Douglas Close, Yapton, near Arundel, in July 1994.

It is believed the woman, 42, was arrested after she walked into Crawley police station with her solicitor at noon yesterday.

An inquest into Mr Webb's death was held the month after his death. The coroner recorded an open verdict.

Seven years later, in October 2001, police exhumed his body from a cemetery at Hayling Island, Hampshire, for forensic testing.

On April 16 this year, officers announced the investigation into his death had been reopened and it was being treated as murder, although they refused to say how Mr Webb died.
