So we have a rat problem because of the rubbish (The Argus, August 1). Last week, the refuse department informed this neighbourhood rubbish would be collected on Monday instead of Tuesday.
Mine is still there outside, waiting for collection, as is some of my neighbour's. I have phoned the office twice asking when it may be collected, only to be told it would be within 48 hours.
As most of my rubbish is normally put into a bin, this is now overflowing and rubbish is going everywhere, due to cats or is it now rats in a residential area?
