An aircraft simulator company which began life in a garage has received its fourth Queen's Award.
SEOS was started 18 years ago at the homes of co-founders Owen Wynn and Stephen Elmer. It now employs more than 180 people.
The latest award for the Burgess Hill-based firm is for enterprise in international trade.
Two of the previous awards marked the company's export achievement and the third was for technical innovation.
Mr Wynn, who now runs the company's operations in the United States, and Mr Elmer, who looks after the UK and Europe, were presented with the award certificate and a ceremonial lead crystal bowl by the Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex, Hugh Wyatt, at a ceremony at Ockendon Manor, Cuckfield.
SEOS is a leader in its field of providing visual display systems for aircraft flight simulators and virtual reality.
SEOS products are used in many high-profile projects. The crews of every space shuttle mission have trained in simulators with SEOS visual displays as have American Special Forces.
