A consultancy has been launched to help public sector organisations make their services available on digital interactive television (iTV).
Factor V, based in Brighton, has been formed by Gavin McWhirter, the former project leader of NHS Direct Digital, one of four pilot digital iTV services funded by the Department for Health.
Clients include the department, which has commissioned a report on the potential for providing patients access to consumer health information using the bedside iTV systems being deployed in hospitals in England.
