It has come to the notice of Whitehawk Crime Prevention Forum that our thoroughly dedicated councillor, Mo Marsh, has not been put forward to represent Whitehawk residents at the local elections in May 2003.
We would like to say to those Labour Party members who decided to replace Councillor Marsh that we are thoroughly disgusted with you.
None of you can possibly know how much very hard work Coun Marsh has put into this estate over the past seven years. We do not think you even care.
How dare you not come to ask the residents what we think? How dare you even consider replacing this popular, dedicated councillor?
You have done this for your own ends, not ours. Coun Marsh has built up a considerable amount of trust during the years she has been our councillor. Nobody knows Whitehawk people better than our dedicated representative.
It beggars belief anything of this magnitude should have happened. We are alarmed that all Coun Marsh's efforts will be lost.
She has fought many a corner on many fronts and, as the result of her involvement in NDC, has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to benefit this estate and its residents.
No one will ever replace "Our Mo" so the sooner you all see sense and reinstate Coun Marsh, the better.
