Some time ago, I wrote to say how much I looked forward to the Tuesday edition because of The Argus Business, which frequently provides an antidote to all those whingeing letters you feel obliged to publish.
Yesterday's edition did not let me down as Keith Winsper's front-page lead story is headlined: "There's plenty of jobs for all." When did we last hear that message?
Amid all the petty grumblings that blanket the national tabloids, perhaps we should remember President Clinton's famous response when asked what he considered the most important issue of the day: "The economy, stupid!"
