Four Kung Fu experts from Sussex featured on Chinese television after joining a UK team picked to demonstrate the art in the orient.

The four, from Fujian White Crane Kung Fu in Brighton, joined the 11-strong UK team to perform at an international show in southern China.

Masters from all over the world came together to demonstrate in front of a crowd of 2000, an event which was shown on Chinese national television.

Russell Suthern, Shafagh Amiraftabi, Neil Johnson and Dan Hume were all praised by local masters for their high level of skill.

Mr Suthern was even chosen to perform his Kung Fu at the Southern Shaolin temple, a rare honour, reserved only for the most skilled practitioners.

Fujian White Crane is based in Brighton offering Kung Fu and Tai Chi classes.

It also runs classes in Lewes, Burgess Hill, Worthing, Crawley and Haywards Heath.
