Brighton fighter Chill John has been chosen as British and Commonwealth champion Scott Harrison's main sparring partner as he prepares to for his world title fight.
Harrison is challenging Julio Pablo Chacon for the Argentine's WBO featherweight crown on June 8 in Glasgow.
John lost to Norwich lightweight Jon Thaxton in his last outing but this invitation is a boost to his confidence.
John's trainer and manager Ronnie Davies said: "The Frank Warren-Frank Maloney combination have been highly impressed with Chill and he is sparring with Harrison all week."
Harrison will be top of the bill on the show at the Braehead Arena while undefeated Scottish fighters Alex Arthur and Willie Limond battle it out for the vacant British super-featherweight title on the undercard.
Hove super-featherweight Paul Halpin is hoping to meet the winner of that contest, providing he can get past Gavin Rees on a date to be confirmed in early July.
