A man accused of murdering his wife will appear at Lewes Crown Court on June 5.
Dewi Hughes, 38, is charged with killing Anne Hughes at their home in Twyford Road, Coldean, Brighton.
Mrs Hughes, 56, who has children from a previous marriage, was found dead at their flat just after midnight on Wednesday.
Hughes was remanded in custody by Brighton magistrates.
