Daft, silly and refreshingly traditional could be used to describe this comedy sketch show but I prefer downright funny.
Under the healthy influence of Monty Python, Dave Mounfield and Brian Mitchell's style is a smart slapstick, blending literary and cultural references with more bawdy, rompish humour.
Their show has an infectious wit that grows giggles to belly-laughs.
The comedy heavyweights use a deconstructed pastiche on Sixties US comics Rowan and Martin as a linking device, which works well once established but takes too long to explain.
Clea Smith takes on the Goldie Hawn dizzy hippy chick role but is at her best when taking Dave and Brian to task.
They are repeating the show at the same venue on May 21 and 28 at 8pm. The Tarzan sketch and the Facts Of Life skit are worth the paltry ticket price alone.
