Motocross fans are in for a feast of top class action at Winterpick Farm, near Horsham, tomorrow (Sunday).

Round two of the hugely popular triple British Championship series takes place on the spectacular venue and has attracted riders of the highest calibre from home and abroad.

Former multi world and British champion Dave Thorpe returns to the fray in the Yamaha Four Stroke class.

After a break of more than five years from competitive racing, Thorpe showed in the last round in Devon that he has lost none of his skill and determination, breaking into the top four after overcoming an earlier crash.

Yamaha mounted Wayne Smith got his title defence off to a superb start in the opening round by taking two wins and a second to lead the Ray Hockey Under 21 Championship by seven points.

The Horsham club have pulled off a major coup in attracting current world championship leader Daniel Willemsen and passenger Alfons Eggers as wild card entries for Kamar Sidecar championship races.

All three championship classes race three times, with practice getting under way at 10am. A presentation of the leading riders takes place at 11.50am and the first race starts at 12.30pm.
