Plans to set up a new sex shop in Brighton will go before city councillors next month.
London-based Clone Zone wants to establish the shop in St James's Street, Brighton.
There have been five objections - three from residents, one from a councillor and one from a residents' society.
At present there is only one sex shop in the city at The Private Shop in Surrey Street.
Last year an application for a sex shop in St George's Road, Kemp Town, was rejected.
The application will be considered on May 7.
