Businessman Howard Trevette thinks he can solve two of the most pressing problems in Brighton and Hove.
He says the city council should sell the King Alfred leisure centre site in Hove and transfer the sports amenities to the community stadium planned for Falmer.
This would not only provide a sparkling new sports centre but could also raise cash for the new stadium.
The disadvantage is there would be a huge gap in Hove's sporting amenities with the nearest public pool being in central Brighton or Shoreham.
While it might take ten minutes for some people to drive to Falmer, those going by other means of transport would find it a long haul from Hove.
It's better to try to fund a revitalised King Alfred from commercial development on the site but there's no reason why the Albion should not look at including other sports in the new stadium too.
