More than 600 demonstrators took to the streets to show their opposition to Israel's actions in the West Bank.
The hour-long march began in Palmeira Square, Hove, on Saturday. Hundreds of people set off along Brighton and Hove seafront.
One organiser told the crowd: "This is a demonstration of peace and of justice because that's all we want for the people of the Middle East.
"When the planes hit the World Trade Centre the world cried with America. Now who is crying for the innocent people being killed?"
The crowd moved along the promenade towards the Palace Pier chanting slogans and waving Palestinian flags and placards.
Others carried pictures of Palestinians killed or injured in recent violence.
Among the demonstrators were those who had friends and relatives in the Palestinian territories and several University of Sussex students who had recently left the area.
Speakers included students' union president Dan Glazebrook. Several Brighton and Hove city councillors were among the crowd, including Labour's Francis Tonks.
