This exhibition features the work of artists who have been drawn to using white as a colour or property in their pieces.

Designed specifically for the Pavilion, the exhibition explores modernism in art and its relationship to architecture.

Pieces by contemporary artists such as Anish Kapoor, Langlands and Bell and Colin Booth will be shown alongside work by quintessential Thirties modernist artists, including Ben Nicholson and Naum Gabo.

By focusing on white, the artists' work suggests an interest in the subtleties of colour and the way in which it absorbs and reflects light.

It highlights the surface, texture and space in paintings, sculptures and digital media.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue and related activities and events throughout its duration. It is open from 10am to 6pm and admission is free. Call 01424 787949.
