Police raided a house following a tip-off the premises was being used as a drugs house.
Two men in their 20s were arrested. They are being questioned at a police station in connection with offences of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Several wraps, believed to be crack cocaine, were collected from the pathway beneath the window of the house.
Officers burst into the house off London Road, Brighton, at noon yesterday.
Inspector Rob Carden, who led the operation, said the raid was part of the police's ongoing campaign to stamp out drug dealing in Brighton and Hove.
He said: "We've reached a situation where people are coming down from London thinking Brighton is a soft touch to deal drugs - it is not."
