I was thoroughly disgusted by the organisation of the Beat Boutique last Saturday.
Once in the main auditorium, if you left to get a drink or go to the toilet, you could not get back in for ages because of the queues.
There were people pushing and shoving and, unsurprisingly, becoming impatient.
I waited at one time for an hour to get back in. People were avoiding leaving the room so they did not have to queue to re-enter.
Security staff were chucking bottles of water to people on the dance floor and men were even urinating against the walls.
The toilets, too, were a fiasco. Were two cubicles in the gents' sufficient when 2,500 tickets had been sold?
I felt lucky after speaking to several people who had travelled from Crewe, Liverpool and Hull - at least I had not had to pay for hotels and petrol too.
What should have been an excellent night turned out to be the worst clubbing night I have ever been to. How on earth was the licence honoured?
I am asking for a full refund on the seven tickets I bought.
