I was so incensed by the murder of a police Alsatian, I have written this poem for him.

A dog is a piece of equipment, But he doesn't exist at all. Just use him while he's useful, He'll be there when you call. He'll love you and he'll do his job, He loves his kith and kin. But when he makes just one mistake, You put the needle in.
