Lindsay Davenport will defend her Britannic Asset Management International Championships title at Eastbourne this year.
The 1999 Wimbledon winner will be joined by Jelena Dokic and Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario who have also confirmed their entry for the Sanex WTA Tour event at Devonshire Park from June 17 to 22.
Davenport, who has also lifted Australian and US Open crowns, wants to repeat her Eastbourne success of 12 months ago when she beat Magui Serna in the final.
Sanchez-Vicario is an Eastbourne regular and a former French and US Open champion, while Dokic was a semi-finalist at Wimbledon two years ago.
Championships Director John Feaver said: "We are delighted that three big stars of the women's game will be competing. It shows the high regard in which the championships are held by the top players."
Ticket prices range from £13.50 to £23 and can be ordered by calling the hotline on 01323 412000/411555.
Eastbourne will also stage the Varsity match between Oxford and Cambridge in the build-up to Wimbledon. Other attractions include Ladies Day, the junior tournament, The Road to Eastbourne, Kids Zone and the LTA Speed Serve with all proceeds going to Sport Relief.
