A currency exchange bureau is doubling its size at an airport, bringing in another 40 jobs.
TTT Foreign Exchange has been awarded a contract to increase its bureau de change business at Gatwick from five to ten outlets at the airport's two terminals.
Recruiting is well under way with 35 of the 40 jobs already filled. The contract means that TTT will be the largest currency bureau at the airport with its only rival, Travelex, having nine outlets.
Ian Campbell, financial services manager of BAA, the group which runs major airports in Britain, said: "For more than nine years TTT has demonstrated its commitment to providing the highest standards of service to travellers.
"It has become one of our key business partners at Gatwick and the award of this contract is a logical step in the continuing development of our relationship."
Bassam Shlewet, TTT's managing director, said he was delighted to have won the contract and looked forward to extending services to a larger proportion of the 30 million passengers travelling through Gatwick every year.
