I can't speak for East Sussex County Council or the Green Party but I can tell you every muddy field is of more value than we realise, for they are the last part of our common heritage and must be preserved.
Those clamouring for a stadium at Falmer are the vested interests that would like the South Downs to vanish under concrete just to see their bank balances enlarged. The only option both for the club and the environment is to build on a brownfield site.
