Burgess Hill boss Gary Croydon has denied reports that striker Steve Harper has signed for Millwall.
The 19-year-old frontman has been training with the Lions for a month but Croydon has dismissed two stories in national newspaper saying Harper has signed for the first division side.
Croydon said: "I will be speaking to Mark (McGhee) but Steve has not signed.
"Any deal I set up will mean he is staying with us for as long as we are in the FA Vase."
