A man appeared in court today accused of murdering an Eastbourne care home owner.
Anthony Pate, 47, was remanded in custody when he appeared before town magistrates.
He is accused of murdering c Kim Baldry, 44, at her house in Gorringe Road, Eastbourne, on December 9.
She was found with stab wounds and declared dead at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
Pate, of Belle Vue Court, Belle Vue Road, Eastbourne, will appear at Lewes Crown Court on January 3.
