Hastings Town moved into second place in the eastern division after winning 5-0 at Corby Town.

The visitors scored three goals in half-an-hour.

They took the lead after seven minutes when Stuart Myall fired past home goalkeeper Des Elliott following a ball from Paul Jones.

Town made it 2-0 on 24 minutes when Adam Flannagan headed home from close range and three minutes later Landry Zahana knocked home a loose ball after a Paul Ruddy header rebounded from the crossbar.

Myall made it 4-0 three minutes before the interval when he ran on to a through ball and beat Elliott from the edge of the area.

Four minutes into the second half Flannagan completed the scoring with his second goal.

Hastings goalkeeper Dave King was not seriously tested as Hastings had chances to double the scoreline.

St Leonards lost their eighth game in a row when they were beaten 3-1 at home against Stamford despite a spirited second-half performance.

Saints took the lead in the 19th minute when Steve Smith picked out Liam Barham from a free kick and the midfielder scored with a 25-yarder beyond goalkeeper Steve Corry.

Richard Bailey equalised with a flick from a free-kick, but Carl Holmes put the visitors ahead shortly before half time.
