I send my very best wishes to Canon Anthony Whale, who is leaving Arundel Cathedral for pastures new (The Argus, December 5).
Also, I thank him from the bottom of my heart for his concerns for animals and the wonderful service he led on behalf of all animals at Arundel in September.
"A service for animal creation" is by the Catholic Study Circle for Animal Welfare, which exists to influence society worldwide into becoming more compassionate towards the animal creatures.
If only more religious leaders would lead on the immorality of man's exploitation and abuses of our brother and sister species. God bless Canon Whale.
