Schools in Brighton have been put on alert after a man tried to abduct a boy.
He was in Surrenden Crescent, Brighton, yesterday morning when the man approached him.
The child ran off and raised the alarm.
Balfour Junior and Infants schools, in Balfour Road, were two of the schools warned by police.
A spokeswoman at the infant school said: "We told all staff and children in assembly."
