Why does The Argus continually repeat the myth "Albion fans are also split on the choice, with many hoping the club will eventually find a site at Waterhall, close to its stadium at Withdean"?

This is untrue.

I don't know a single fan who genuinely supports the Waterhall site.

I would be grateful if The Argus could clarify the grounds for continually repeating this gross inaccuracy.

It appears to be based on the rantings of the landlord of The Swan, who reckons he said: "You ask nine out of ten Albion fans where they want a stadium and they say Waterhall."

Perhaps he doesn't recognise a fan when he sees one. No genuine fan would be using his pub, so where has he been speaking to these people?

I thought The Argus was supporting the Albion's plans for a new stadium at Falmer.
