Lewes bounced back from Saturday's defeat with an emphatic 5-0 victory at Molesey in division two.

On 18 minutes a fierce shot on the turn by Lewes' Chris Dicker was tipped away by goalkeeper Gary Robinson.

Four minutes later Lewes took the lead after Paul Stokes found Dominic Shepherd and he cut inside before firing home a low shot.

The score was doubled after 26 minutes when a Graham Mackay shot was deflected into the path of Shepherd who calmly slotted home.

On 34 minutes it was 3-0 as Ross Venables nodded in after good work from Mackay and Shepherd. Five minutes into the second half Dicker scored Lewes' fourth with a curving shot and the rout was complete after 85 minutes with a 25-yard strike from Joe Clark.

Also in division two, Horsham slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Banstead .

Horsham's best chances fell to Jason Lillis, who directed a header over, and Steve Flain who was denied by keeper Glyn Shimell.

Banstead grabbed victory in the 82nd minute through Bobby George.

The Rocks made their first of two visits to Walton and Hersham's Stomp Pond Lane ground to face tenants Staines Town and came back with a 1-1 draw.

Bognor took the lead in the 24th minute through a close range header by Matt Russell.

The home side levelled in the 41st minute when Stuart Lake was brought down inside the box by Charlie Balfe.

Steve Talboys narrowly beat keeper Stoner to his right with the resulting spot kick.

Rocks boss Jack Pearce said: "It's a good point away from home and a good result. However, I am disappointed that we didn't nick all three."
