Well done, the Preston Park protesters who locked the barrier to the park at the weekend.
It was a joy to be there and know your children were safe from cars driving through. As I understand it, the only people who now have access to the park are the disabled. However, there are no signs to that effect. Brighton and Hove City Council has behaved irresponsibly in opening the barrier without proper signage and safety measures being put in place.
